Waterproofing at the foundation and basement wall line directly affects the service life of the building. In projects across İzmir and the region, we plan membrane, geotextile and drainage components together according to ground conditions.
At the wall–slab junction, fillets, waterstops and movement joints must be executed exactly as specified. A “generic membrane” is not enough; thickness, mechanical properties and weld / overlap details are clarified for each project.
Before application, surface roughness, moisture and temperature are checked; protective measures are planned for risky periods such as rain or rapid concrete pours. A site log with photos reduces disputes later.
Perimeter drainage is considered together with slopes and backfill details so collected water is taken away from the structure. Coordination with structural and geotechnical engineers is arranged when needed.
